Share Group was founded to assist nonprofit organizations, charities, political causes, universities and hospitals with their membership development and fundraising programs. Our innovative outbound and inbound fundraising and membership campaigns, on behalf of over 100 major national clients, make us the acknowledged leader in this segment of the telemarketing industry.

Working with rigorously trained professional fundraisers, we encourage discursive appeals, which engage the supporter with a client's cause. We believe such a conversational approach enhances average gift size, fulfillment and the quality of information exchanged. Our practiced fundraisers know when to be quick and concise, and when to be measured and engaging. They also believe that no cause should be sold short. They are efficient and sophisticated.

Share Group's client service teams are continually seeking ways to increase agreement and fulfillment rates for fundraising, membership renewal and membership reinstatement campaigns through credit card transactions, sustainer programs and discriminating list segmentation.

There are many fundraising programs that could benefit your organization. Learn more about the types of programs we have to offer or contact us to speak directly with a senior client service representative.

Monthly Sustainers

Persuading multiple givers and newly acquired donors to pledge a monthly contribution is one of the most reliable ways to enhance a member's financial participation in your organization.

We specialize in developing monthly sustainer programs for our clients. We help organizations craft the appeal and choose the best donor segments to call. Share Group has made more monthly sustainer calls than any other firm serving the nonprofit industry.

Special Appeal Programs

Direct mail and telephone fundraising special appeal programs can significantly boost your annual fund revenue. Whether your organization is a hospital, public broadcasting station, museum, or advocacy group, you need a core group of committed donors who can be persuaded to give more than once a year. Our special appeal programs target responsive donors. We can coordinate a telephone and direct mail campaign to boost your net revenue.

Membership/Donor Renewal Programs

Membership and donor renewal programs are the lifeblood of our clients. You have paid dearly to acquire their membership, and it is essential and beneficial to keep them on board.

It would be easy and efficient if all of your donors renewed their support in the mail. Because this is generally not the case, many of our clients turn to telephone fundraising in their renewal cycle. Whether it is with a first notice, a third reminder, or a final appeal, Share Group can help you integrate telephone fundraising into your renewal process.

Reinstatement and Donor Acquisition Programs

Many of our clients find that telephone calls to donors who have lapsed two to four years are more productive than yet another direct mail appeal. Some now keep segregated files of telephone-responsive donors who are called as many as three times a year-and give with each call.

If you take a hard look at your organization's database of individual records, you will likely find many segments of potential donors-- event participants, hospital patients, petition signers, people requesting more information, activist networks, catalogue buyers and web site visitors.

Share Group has turned many such contacts into first time annual fund donors or members. With a telephone call, AIDS service organizations and health charities can convert "walkathon" participants into regular donors. Political organizations can convert petition signers into donors. Hospitals can convert patients into donors. Schools can convert parents and grandparents into donors.

High Dollar Programs

If your organization is like that of many of our clients, you may have a core group of valuable donors who are under-solicited simply because they are excluded from your ongoing direct marketing programs. While it is with every best intention that these high-end donors (say, $250+) are cultivated with personalized mailings, they are often then not solicited regularly. In the end, this may cost you significant revenue. We have learned, through almost two decades of experience, that high-value donors are likely to give whenever asked.

We believe our best fundraisers are as sophisticated at soliciting gifts by telephone as your in-house staff. If your organization has 1,000 or more $250+ donors who have not been solicited by telephone or have not received a personal visit from a major gift officer, then you should consider giving us a call to discuss what we've done for other organizations. Coordinated Direct Mail

In today's competitive direct response fundraising market, organizations are using more targeted, coordinated direct mail in combination with outbound telephone programs. Variable text direct mail sent to donors not contacted during a telephone program, donors who decline to make a telephone pledge, or donors for whom we've left messages will likely yield more revenue than generic direct mail. Our direct mail follow-up is sent first class and typically results in response rates of 6% to 10%. This kind of tailored direct mail approach can convince a supporter that an organization truly cares about the individual as much as the cause. It also allows another chance to give.
