Duties of a Fundraiser/Fundraising Advocate:
- Contact donors and/or prospective donors of our non-profit clients to help renew membership, raise funds and generate awareness.
- Record call information as determined by specific project.
Fundraising Advocate calls could include working to:
- Support Political Organizations
- Protect Choice
- Establish Gay Rights
- Preserve the Environment
- Fight for Animal Welfare
- Raise Support for the Passing of a Bill
Requirements
Fundraiser / Fundraising Advocate Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Some telemarketing experience (fundraising, customer service and/or sales) preferred
- Pleasant and professional phone manner
- A higher education is a plus, but not a necessity
- Availability to work nights and weekends
- Passion to make a difference
